Abstract ♦ On 16 October 2025, distinguished representatives of eleven professional fields gathered in Budapest for the National Interdisciplinary Grief Conference. With more than 350 participants, the event examined the psychological, health-related, organisational, cultural and spiritual dimensions of loss, accompaniment and coping from an interdisciplinary perspective. Following a reflection on the conference’s position within the Hungarian Death Positive Movement and its relevance to contemporary societal attitudes toward death, the report reviews the main thematic directions of the programme—from the relationship between trauma and grief, through the systemic impact of perinatal loss and the dynamics of organisational grief, to oncopsychological considerations and narrative–spiritual approaches. The report highlights both the possibilities and the necessity of interdisciplinary cooperation, as well as the supportive, trusting atmosphere that made the conference a space for meaningful encounters between professional knowledge and personal reflection.
