Lessons of a perinatal bereavement group

Abstract · In our society the biggest taboo around grief is the taboo of the grief after losing a baby. People do not even think how often women and men lose their awaited baby during the pregnancy or during labour. The so-called perinatal bereavement group is a fellowship of those who lost their baby, led by professional grief counsellors. We are going to review the dynamics of these groups, the most common questions and topics, based on a group that has ended recently.

Dignity Workshop

The dignity of hospice patients - illustrated with cases

Abstract · Organized by the Hungarian Hospice-Palliative Association, the new, accredited professional continuing education training, covering the sensitive area ofhuman dignity, was held on September 2, 2022 under the name of Dignity Workshop, primarily intended for healthcare professionals and staff directly involved in patient care. With the help of invited speakers and guided group work we covered this - in our opinion - very important topic. Our present publication - with the same title - contains an extract from the second presentation of the training.
