Shifting the focus to early planning in end-of-life education

Abstract · The End-of-Life Planning Foundation (founded in 2014) urges people to consider important questions about the end-of-life period pro-actively, and supports them by providing information in various ways. Based on the experience of the early activities we decided to fine-tune our communication and reach those who are not yet affected by end-of-life decisions, but are open to plan for them. The article presents the observations of a new set of events called Strucc Café, launched during the spring of 2019.

The possibility to compost human bodies

Abstract · Worldwide several big cities need to deal with cemeteries filling up and with the hard challenge of enlarging them. For this reason more and more alternative burial procedures have become available all over the world. In this article I intend to focus on the problem of composting the human body, thus continuing the topic that I started in my previous writings. In these writings first I described the experiences of the visitors of crematories, on the basis of the interviews made with them, then I presented alternative burial possibilites and the attitude changes towards these new funeral ways.
